Payment of Fees
The camping fees and vehicle charge for your whole stay (less the deposit if one was paid) must be paid on the day of your arrival.
At the same time, you pay an advance for firewood and use of the Visitor's Barn (if applicable).

Cancellations and Refunds
The booking deposit will not be refunded should you cancel. At our discretion, the deposit may be credited towards a future stay (within two years), if you give us reasonable notice of your cancellation and we are able to take another booking to fill your pitch.

If you leave early: in the Low Season, we will refund all of your payment for the remaining days; in the Peak Season, 50% of your payment for the remaining days will be refunded (or more at our discretion, depending on circumstances and time of year, and if we can fill your pitch).

Credits
Credits are valid for two years, towards a single future stay by you, not for use as payment of a booking deposit, but only as payment of the balance.

For Campers hiring Yurts and Bell Tents

Payment of Fees
Approximately 50% of the total fee is paid to confirm your booking.
For the Yurts, the balance (including the deposit against damage) must be paid one month before your arrival.
On the day of arrival, you pay an advance for firewood, bedding and use of the Visitor's Barn (if applicable).

Deposit against Damage
You must pay a £60 deposit against damage or degradation to the yurt (£30 for bell tents). The deposit is only given back in full if you leave the yurt or bell tent as clean as you found it. If any cleaning at all is required after you leave, a minimum of £10 will be deducted from your deposit. Further deductions may be made for things such as mud or stains on the rugs or futons, spillages or general mess, or physical damage.

Cancellations and Refunds
We always refund the deposit against damage if one has been paid, and additionally:
We will give a refund of 50% of the fees you have paid if you cancel your booking two months or more before your date of arrival. (Refund to be paid within 7 days of cancellation);
We will give a refund in full (less £20 admin charge) if we get a replacement booking for the same dates. (Refund to be paid by the departure date of the original booking, or earlier if possible).
Refunds are only made by internet bank transfer. If this is to a non-UK bank account, there will be an additional £10 admin charge, and we are not liable for any deductions made by the banks).
